Bill: Transitional Period Towards Privatization of Sport

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2465

Description[?]:

"This way, if there is a real need for a sporting club somewhere, say in a particularly obese party of the inner cities, or an area with bored, troubled youths, the government can make sure that happens.

Every other club has to compete with the competition....no pun intended.

This way, once the State is content with the situation the junior leagues are in, we can finally apply a free market policy towards them, improving the overall quality of the clubs and freeing up government staff for more important matters."

~Susan Copper, Shadow Minister of Education and Culture for the Liberty Party

Message"While tha NAM stands for unitarism in general, we cannot support this bill since we cannot expect the state to know every little club which may has a right to recieve state support."

Message"Clubs will write to the government to apply for funds. The State won't actively search for them. Eventually the Liberty Party will move for full privatization once the struggling clubs have either disbanded or received enough funding to get back on their feet."
