Bill: Ensuring Social Safety Bill 2444

Details

Submitted by[?]: God's and the King's Fighters

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2445

Description[?]:

Ad 1: Why should we let the employer decide, what reasons are reasonable and what reasons are not.
Ad 2: How should we know, if the majority approves, regardless if they vote or not? The only indicator we have, are the votes that are gathered in the ballots.
Ad 3: How are we going to help integration, if we don't search for illegal aliens actively? We might as well forget the concept of illegal immigration completely, if we don't search for illegal aliens.

Ad Art. 2: Not the empolyers decide what reasons are reasonable but the courts or the law (depending on how this law's structure is formed)
Ad Art. 3: We agree.

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators.

Random quote: "Civil disobedience. . . is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. . Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem." - Howard Zinn
