Message | This would act as a massive deterrent to crime. Muggers would think twice before striking, because that sweet little old lady could now legally have an RPG stowed in her purse. While there would be a rise in fatalities, accidents, anger shootings, homicides, gang violence, etc. etc.. we believe that the benefits of this law outweigh the negatives. Another plus- Firearms/Explosives/Personal Defense/Body Armor industries make a killing! Our economy benefits! |

Message | Unfortunately this represents an area in which the Neo-Epicurean Party must depart from its usual stance of promoting personal and economic freedoms. Allowing the populace to carry weapons without restriction allows citizens to inflict harm and even death upon each other without a pause for reasonable thought. People are not respected as sentient beings, but for the firepower that they can deal. An armed society is a society in perpetual fear, and the Neo-Epicuream philosophy does not advocate keeping the citizens fearful. |

Message | Neo-Epicurean Party, read the book "MORE Guns, LESS Crime" by John R. Lott, Jr. The statistics will ASTOUND you: cities with concealed carry laws have dramatically lower crime rates that cities with strict gun control laws. |

Message | Are you kidding my. It's my personal mission to see those awful guns banned from this country. When I'm through, the best weapon available will be a butter knife, and the will only be weilded by SWAT |
