|The Partie Légitimisme is appalled that Alduria is governed by a title so false as the 'République populaire d'Alduria.' While we are hardly Republicans, recognize that the Aldurian people live in a Republican state, and we suggest that it be named as such. The Communists no longer govern us, and they certainly hold no power. We hope the parties of Alduria will unite to support this bill.|
We propose that the "République populaire d'Alduria" become the République d'Alduria" which is far more befitting of a democratic state.
This bill shall become a law should 2/3s of the Legislature support it.
Of course, we are open to suggestions to rename the state if need be, but we figure the République d'Alduria is the best choice at this time.

|Message||Given this bill is small and effects nothing IC, sans a slight rename (which is needed--we are no longer a Popular Republic, aka a People's Republic with the communists gone) so I move this directly to vote.|

|Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.|
|Random quote: "Civil disobedience. . . is not our problem. Our problem is civil obedience. Our problem is that numbers of people all over the world have obeyed the dictates of the leaders of their government and have gone to war, and millions have been killed because of this obedience. . Our problem is that people are obedient all over the world in the face of poverty and starvation and stupidity, and war, and cruelty. Our problem is that people are obedient while the jails are full of petty thieves, and all the while the grand thieves are running the country. That's our problem." - Howard Zinn|
