This if the first bill out of our Religion Reform Program (RRP). The RRP aims to enhance the historical Judeo-Christian character of our nation and the vital importance of religion in Darnussians lives while still respecting religious pluralism. Article 1 - With this article teacher-led prayers in every Darnussian school are encourage, while the schools still retain the freedom to decide upon its own policy regarding school prayers (which should be of broadly Christian character). Religious schools should provide worship in accordance with the school religion. Article 2 - This article is the basis for the establishment of the Church of Darnussia. The State church will profess the major religion in Darnussia: the Catholic branch of Catholicism and its Terran and Orthodox beliefs (membership is completely voluntary). |
