Message | We see no reason to expend the huge amount of capital that would be required to go from NO nuclear power plants... to majority nuclear power. Did the Ordo not consider the outlay? Not to mention the fact that we literally CAN NOT supply most of our power from nuclear means at any time in the near future - we simply do not HAVE any nuclear plants. It would take years to bring a functional nuclear industry on-line. How does the Ordo suggest we pay for this? How does the Ordo suggest we provide most of our power from nuclear sources in the interim? |

Message | My dear Sturm und Drang... are you not aware of the critical role that nuclear power plants play in producing weapons grade plutonium? Not only shall our energy grid be improved, but our weapons stockpiles shall soar to new heights. |

Message | That doesn't answer the main question. For many years, there has been an absolute ban on nuclear power plants. Not just nuclear power.. but the actual plants themselves. Given an absolute moratorium on nuclear technology spanning decades, there is no chance there is anything approaching a functional nuclear facility in Likatonia. How are we supposed to go from no nuclear plants, to majority nuclear power? There is no timetable, this is expected to go into place immediately... but it simply cannot in any realistic fashion. With no nuclear industry - this law makes no sense. It is simply putting an unenforceable law on the books. |
