Bill: Cinema Regulations

Details

Submitted by[?]: Democratic Trade Unionist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2448

Description[?]:

We are sure that you agree that preventing children from viewing unsuitable images is of great importantance, children are the future. As such we propose a Classification system to prevent children from entering theatres where they may see unsuitable images.

Of course, we cannot control this in a persons own home, and can only hope that parents are responsible enough to moderate their child's viewing behaviours.

MessageObviously you don't really care about this policy if you don't want to enforce it where children are going to be exposed to it constantly, in the home.
So why bother further bloating the government's role?
The current approach helps parents make decisions, and prepares children for being responsible for their actions later in life.
