Voting deadline: September 2448

Description[?]:

Ok, after thinking about this we/I propose that we change, or rather shorten our name.

We our comprised of several federated regions and city-states, which makes us a Federation.

So we/I propose we change our name to the Federation of Sekowo or the Sekowan Federation.

MessageI find federation a bit too bland. Although we shouldn't aim for flamboyant names "just because," we should remember that particracy provides a place for innovative political experimentation that couldn't happen in the real world. The "people" of Sekowo won't suffer because the city-state system, just as they won't prosper because we declare a more level-headed federation. So let's have some fun.

For example, if we do make a federation, let's make, for a back story, that it is highly decentralized. The regions themselves would act like quasi-sovereign states. No one would hail from Sekowo, but from their home state. There might even be some territorial conflict... (cf. Toledo War).

MessageWe can't really make up alot of history since most of it is already existant in the wikia.

I was thinking more along the way the States in the US are.

MessageI wrote most of the history of the of last 200 years. I'd be happy to modify it. In any case, the decentralized nature of Sekowo is pretty clear, seeing what happened in the civil war...

MessageIf you go with an idea like that, I would enjoy roleplaying a party kinda based on the patriote/separatist idea.

MessageI'd rather that we figure it out now. I don't want to be shortchanged into an "average" federation due to later inaction.

MessageWell this bill just means we're going to change it, it does'nt mean we are'nt going to work out the details.

I mean considering we do have to ask for a name change, the time between the bill passing and actually getting the name changed is gonna be a few days most likely, so we can figure it out than.

Also, I think we should base it on the publics feelings, like government responsibility, economic regulation, government size and unitary v. devolved, since than it would be more realistic.
