Realizing the need to provide employment to our citizens; Realizing the need to continue on a positive economic footing; The Social Democratic Party hereby calls on the Government to enact a law that will nationalize vacant or idle factories, being those that have been unable to maintain sustained production for a period of ONE year. The Social Democratic Party calls on these nationalized factories to be placed under management by a Workers Council comprised of former employees that will maintain and conduct marketing and production out of these facilities to meet the local and national demands of the nation. |
