Message | Wait wait wait. You are proposing to give the lowest income bracket Higher tax? And give the rich a tax reduction? Madness! If anything, a flat tax for everyone, but not this. |

Message | Please, as Prime Minister, I would not support this. Taxes should be brought to a level where we can reach a surplus, not a massive deficit. I ask for thee to reconsider |

Message | Mr Prime Minister, if this passes, it will bring in an extra 25.8 Billion Jels. Currently income tax brings in 248.4 Billion. So this proposal would actually eliminate our current deficit, and give us a surplus of approx 18 Billion. |

Message | Furthermore, this is one step closer to the flat tax. We do not see how a party could oppose this proposal, but support a flat tax. |

Message | Lower taxes for the upper classes and raising taxes on the working classes??? That is something we French elites do not support. |

Message | Oh really, my dear accessor ((JKK)), well, this then has my full support, we need to balance our budget. Long Hail the coalition that brought this cabinet together! |

Message | Ohh, it sounds like a creaking in that coalition. Exactly as I said after the last Cabinet proposal: This coalition, as it is just a sum of seats, doesn't represent Jelbania Is there anyone who can see that |

Message | No, because it still doesn't make any sense. |

Message | From the Ambassade de Kanjor: Many of the recent influx of refugees from the repressive Deltarian regime are extremely poor, this proposal strikes at the very heart of people who have already suffered greatly. We are surprised at the support the JKK is giving this measure as it purports to represent the poorer elements of Jelbanian society. From our unbiased observers point of view it seems the Lib-Gov analysis of the situation is correct, the current ruling coalition is merely engaged in a cynical power grabbing exercise for the benefit of its party elites and not the Jelbanian people. While we are usually hesitant at expressing views on other countries internal matters we feel it is our duty to present our concerns when they occur. Jean Marais (Ambassadeur de Kanjor) |

Message | Gardien d'Environnement cannot stand by seeing higher taxes for the poor and lower taxes for the rich. It is wrong. Even if the taxes are reasonably low, it is the princible. To remedy the deficit, we should rather raise the taxes for everyone to pay it off, as long as we make it clear for the public that such is the case. We'll abstain from this vote. |
