This way, the business can advertise that they use the state standards, therefore gaining the trust of the consumer, growing larger, making more profit, and as the free market's history shows, prices will drop as quality rises. Whilst the producers that don't meet the standards will lose competitiveness and eventually be replaced as the cheaper, better quality, safe producers grow. |
