| If we don't pass this before the next election, we're going to end up with an elected "Emperor". I'm sure we all agree that wouldn't be right: whether we're loyalists or republicans. This bill is designed to quickly return the situation to the most recent we had that allowed for executive elections and should thus act as a fair compromise for both those who I presume wouldn't want to be "emperor", and those who don't want a politician using that title. |
