| Our present taxation of big businesses are causing problems in two formats. One, it has raised tax evasion. With everyone moving to evade taxes entirely, we're bringing in less money than if we lowered the taxes. We could alternately upgrade the police force and add military to them, but we would push for peaceful economic reforms to assist this problem. Secondly, the high taxes on these two goods are causing a 'brain drain'. The more educated among our population are moving out of the country for a country that has easier taxes on those that make more money. If it continues like that we will lose our scientist, which would be fine in a communist system, which we are not. We depend on technological power. |
