Details

Submitted by[?]: Hobrazian Peoples Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2450

Description[?]:

We believe that there should be some kind of control with adoptions. We propose that there will be an intesive check up by the government before adoption is allowed and after adoption has taken place to protect the children and also to secure the methods in choosing adoption couples and also in keeping the adoption information from the public.

MessageAgreed. We must be sure that those adopting children are indeed not just capable but also stable enough to do so whilst also guaranteeing that those children placed under their care are not at risk.

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
