| The DSP, being that it has been a number of years since we introduced legislation about this, feels that it be brought up again. Biological weapons are the most destructive weapons there are, not in terms of property damage, which in the long run is meaningless in the matter, but to Human life in general. Biological weapons are some of the deadliest and dangerous weapons simply because they don't affect just the area of war/battle. Therefore the DSP proposes that all production and/or purchasing of biological and chemical weapons be banned as well as the use of any currently existing ones. However, because other nations will not be as progressive and enlightened as us in this endeavour we do believe that research into these be allowed to continue so that we are prepared, and have the necessary antidotes and medicines available should these kinds of weapons ever be used against us. |
