Message | We the Labour Party feels that schooling should occur within the school, with a range of professionally trained teachers and professionally trained minds at hand to help our students. We cannot let a lot of students study from home, all of our students need the right balance of education and it is most unfair for students to all get different ones. Education, we believe should mean equal chances and opportunites for all people- and that means ALL students MUST attend school. |

Message | The Union for Progression and Development inquires into the treatment of Mentally disabled children, physically disabled children and children with learning difficulties. A mentally disabled child would be wasting their time by attending school and it would be much more beneficial for that child to attend home tutoring, where a more stable learning environment is provided. A physically disabled child would feel disadvantaged at a public school, some of them would require to have special help provided for them to do some of the simplest of tasks; help that would be more readily and more willingly available in the home. An Autistic child is better in an environment without other children in many cases. They feel pressured and uncomfortable where many children are and are at a heavy disadvantage in social situations. Many require home schooling. We ask the Labour Party to comment on the treatment of these children; otherwise we will be forced to judge this bill; too harshly worded and too biased towards mainstream children. -Matthieu Col; UPD Shadow Secretary for Education and Culture. |

Message | We support. There is no need for homeschooling as tuition is paid for by the state for all citizens. There is a free public school system and a subsidized private school system for any who wish to have a choice in their education. Schools are conveniently situated and located in the nation and properly managed by local government entities due to the Bieler Administration, which enforced several plans to ensure local coverage of any school district. Message | The Labour Party of course has taken these people into special consideration. When we say attending school, we would propose that children who have disabilities and have special educational needs do attend school, but a special school with many operating effectivly and efficently already. Therefore, these students would get a good and decent education and learn and work with people of the same needs as them, therefore these students wouldn't be wasting their time, they would be learning and having an education as well as performing in a social environment. So the treatment of these children would be a very fair one. We feel it isn't fair for these children to miss out on an education, all children need schooling not just for learning but for the social experiences it brings as well. Home schooling simply doesn't provide the same experiences for every child and these experiences should be shared by everyone, so everyone has the same chances and the same rights and the same experiences. In conclusion, these children would attend school yet work with children who are similar to their needs only and with special educational staff. |

Message | We thank the FIP for their support and acknowledgement of the importance of the fact- all children need to have the same experiences and chances though life and a main way is through education. Irene Edwards, Shadow Education and Culture Minister, Labour Party |

Message | "all children need schooling not just for learning but for the social experiences it brings as well" Autistic children do not have the privilege of engaging in your "social experiences". It has been stated by many of the worlds top Child Psychiatrists that an autistic child being placed into a social situation is equivalent to torture. I do not want to be part of a legislation; making torture compulsory. How can you be sure that these children will be safe at school? Even in a special school with professionally trained staff and special equipment; interaction is a dreadful experience to subject a child of many learning difficulties to. This of couse is not the case with all Autisti children; but with many, it is one of serious consequences that could lead to breakdowns of mental and even physical health. -Matthieu Col; UPD Shadow Secretary for Education and Culture. |

Message | The Labour Party recognises this. Social Experiences isn't neccessarily throwing Autistic children into the middle of the playground, but could be simply bonding gradually and overtime with other children, with staff, familar faces etc. The Labour Party acknowledges the difficulties many of these children face and have taken everything like this into consideration. Home schooling to simply schooling will be a gradual process for these children with speical considerations and not an immediate one. Solentia has some incredible world class schools and these schools can cope with so many different conditions. From Autisitc Children to an average child. It seems such a shame that everychild currently doesn't recieve the full education they should in a school, especially since all schools are very well equipped and staffed. Another point I wish to make on Social Experiences, is the fact for Speicla Needs children special considerations will take place to cater for all children and their needs. Message | We appreciate the long and thaughtful process that the Labour Party has gone through to put in this legislation; and we have no further questions as we are sufficiently pleased that the Labour Party is now fully aware of our concerns and that the government will no doubt; support and treat the education of special need's children in the future. Thank you gentlment, the UPD agrees with this legislation. -Matthieu Col; UPD Shadow Secretary for Education and Culture. |

Message | The Workers Party supports this legislation. We agree with the UPD that there are special cases, but even then - and perhaps especially then - those children need professionally trained teachers. If necessary, an amendment could be made, stating that children with especial needs will have those needs met by especial public schools. Senator (Fuwan) Sábato Miruzawa - Assessor for Educational Issues, Workers Party |

Message | Yes, The Workers Party is correct. Special Educational Needs Children have all the more reason to attend public schooling as they will be getting a greater deal of assistance from professionals than they would be from home. Irene Edwards, Shadow Labour Party Education and Culture Minister |

Message | Another point the Labour Party feels is important to consider is the fact that- when pupils are home schooling we cannot account for the learning they go through. There education may not be of the same standard as a child who attends school and therefore children will not be recieving equal chances, which is what our Party fights for on such a regular basis. Please also bare this in mind when voting. Irene Edwards, Shadow Labour Party Education and Culture Minister |
