Bill: A new monarchy
Details
Submitted by[?]: Conservative Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2450
Description[?]:
We believe it is time to get rid of this imposter of an emperor, our current monarch is the left overs of the old National Soviet Party, and should not hold the highest ranking office of Telamon. Interrex is literally a ruler "between kings." He is in effect a short-term regent. The title was used in ancient Roman mythology and was said to have been instituted on the death of Romulus. |

Message | granting the real power to the monarchy? there wont be any powers, this simple means the monarch is elected... Interrex is the title for an elected regent. |

Message | I see. Regardless, I like the title of Emperor more than interrex. |

Random quote: "The European Union and environmental advocacy groups use global warming hysteria to advance their own special agendas. The European Union recognizes any significant reduction in CO2 emissions by the United States will significantly reduce its economic output, thereby bringing it closer to the inferior output of European nations. Environmental advocacy groups work to stifle economic and industrial progress wherever they find it to inhibit the successful advancement of peoples in developing nations, inevitably making mankind a second class citizen of planet Earth." - Dr. Jay Lehr |
