Bill: Utilities Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Labour Party of Telamon
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: November 2451
Description[?]:
All utilities must be nationalized in order to provide better service to the people,. since (with the exception of communication services, which we will not be nationalizing) there is no competition between companies providing water and power to people, since there is usually only one company's infrastructure in each area, leading to a monopoly in each region. If utilities are government owned, the government will lower prices down to actual costs, resulting in lower costs for all of Telamon. |
