Message | The revenue from the state industry would pay for any reforestation. Besides, you're already losing money in the form of profits, which go to private companies. |

Message | "Percentage Choice 12.19% There is a national agency which owns and manages all forest land. 11.71% There is a national agency which owns all forests, but subcontracts the work to private companies. 13.60% There is a national agency which exists side-by-side with commercial forestry companies. 32.70% All forestry is performed by private companies. 17.24% Local governments may set up forestry agencies. Where they do not, forestry is on a commercial basis. 12.57% Local governments are required to operate forestry agencies, which own and manage all forest land." as found in the Beluzian press only recently. as you can see the higher percentage favours the private forestry commission approach. |

Message | And yet, from that statistic, 67.31% of Beluzians support some form of government management. |

Message | But we can probablly assume that more than 30% want some form of state involvement. |

Message | Well until they can decide how much state involvement they want, how about we side with the majority of the people, which in this case, favor not spending our tax money on trees. And what profit would the state make? All the revenue is going to reforestation, worker's wages, equipment, etc. Under private control, all we have to do is sit back and enjoy our cut from the companies! All profit my friend. |

Message | They pay for equipment and wages too, and still make a profit, so the state would too. We get only a portion of their profit, whereas we would get all of it under state control. And the majority arguement is like saying there is one republican running, and 30% prefer him, but there are 7 democrats, and 10% support each. The 70% would rather have one of the democrats than the republican. |
Date | 21:09:22, September 09, 2007 CET | From | Constitutional Monarchy Party | To | Debating the Forestry Reform Act |
Message | lame american example...hmm let me make it better... there is one Labour candidate and seven Conservatives. 30% support Labour, but the Conservatives each have 10%, therefore 70% would rather have Conservative. It makes more sense to let someone else do all the work doesn't it? Rather than us spending money on machinary, labour and paperwork, we could leave it to Mr Lumberjack company man to sort it all out. |
Date | 23:53:15, September 09, 2007 CET | From | National Conservative Party | To | Debating the Forestry Reform Act |
Message | You just proved my point, they're paying paying wages, equipment, etc. Not us. Sure we don't get 100% of the profit, but we are making 100% profit |
