| 150 is a silly number, most importantly because it allows for ties. If we go to 299, then: 200 is passage of a Constitutional amendment; 199 is failure 150 is passage of an ordinary bill; 149 is failure 150 forms a Government, 149 does not For all these reasons, we urge the size of Parliament to be fixed at 299 |
