Message | This bill *eliminates* income taxes on income up to 12000 ALOs, and cuts the luxury tax by %1. Most Alorians get a tax cut under this bill. The highest earning Alorians are being asked to give more of their income, but because they have more disposable income, they will enjoy most of the benefits of the luxury tax cuts. |

Message | Again, we oppose. Cut taxes for everyone while still keeping your socialistic tendencies and we might support it more. |

Message | This is out of control taxation of the people! |

Message | This tax proposal is not only unnecessary, it is unwieldy and unfair to put the Alorian people through the turmoil of another tax system overhaul. |

Message | Cut taxes for everyone? Down from a flat 1% you mean? While this may look like a shocking proposal on first sight, it actually makes a lot of sense and relieves those on a lower income. To claim that it is outrageous goverment taxation every time someone tries to update our jurassic tax system is reactionary and self serving. We believe however that these currently proposed brackets and differences in percentages are unbalanced. |

Message | There haven't been any recent tax system overhauls, CLP. There was a tax cut on incomes up to 5000 ALOs about 5 years ago. But no "overhaul." This reform itself is a modest proposal to phase in a graduated income tax system. I actually agree with AFP's critique though. I didn't put enough time into thinking through these tax brackets. Should have been simpler, maybe increasing by a % for each 1000 ALOs. |

Message | We don't need any changes to the system. For nearly two decades we've held the 1% flat tax steady while maintaining a) the budget with a surplus, b) basic social programs including education and healthcare, and c) unemployment rates below 4%. This tax increase is selling our citizens a bill of terrible goods they hardly need or want!!! |
