Bill: Local Government Pre-School Empowerment Bill of 2451

Details

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2451

Description[?]:

The federal ban on publicly funded pre-schools is silly. Local governments should have the power to determine whether or not public funding of pre-schools is a benefit to their communities.

MessageWhy? We have perfectly good, yet not totally liberty bound, education system. We see no reason why we need to even allow for this silly spending on a place where children learn to color and play with blocks.

MessageI vote "No", despite the fact this bill will be passed anyway. I don't think it's a government's place to be in charge of early childhood and pre-school development.

MessageLots of people disagree with you on the value of pre-school, KC. Local governments should have the power to decide that public pre-school should be available in their provinces or municipalities.

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.

Random quote: "'The illusion of Pontesi nationhood'. The Serpent speaks. How can they say these things? How can they call our country an illusion? You can see it clear as day, these people won’t stop until they’ve destroyed us all." - Morgan Einar, former Pontesian general
