MessageTied votes might be an issue if the country had only two parties. As things stand, there has never been a perfectly even split in the history of Rutania.

MessageThis is a well known problem even in parliamentary systems with multiple parties - not just in two-party systems.

Also; just because it has not happened earlier does not mean it could not happen in the future.

Opposed. However, we would support reducing the number of seats from 750 to 435..

MessageThere's really no chance of a stalemate ever happening, each party would have to have equal representation on both sides of an agreement, with the addition of those that abstain it makes the odds very small.

I like round numbers like 750 because of mild OCD, so I voted no.

MessageAt this point it wouldn't pass even if we voted in favor. So it goes.

MessageApparently if the vote comes up even then it doesn't pass anyways, so a true majority is needed, which is proper.
