Bill: Cabinet Reform Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Dolgarian Imperial Revivalists
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2096
Description[?]:
With the constitutional monarchy in place, it is obvious that the unelected King should not be placed in the untenable posistion of having to choose a cabinet. Therefore, we propose that any party be allowed to propose a cabinet, thus producing a true constitutional monarchy. |

Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The constitutional right and responsibility to propose a cabinet to the legislature.

Current: Only the largest party can propose a cabinet.

Message | We prefer that cabinets be reserved to the largest parties (the Progressives and Libertarians, in this case) - a tiny party proposed coalition would be highly untenable. |
