Bill: Abortion Act of 2451
Details
Submitted by[?]: Malivian National Unity Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2452
Description[?]:
With the advances in modern medicines and methods of preventions during conception allowing our country to continue to accept abortions on demand with no consequences is immoral on all of our behalves. If the M.N.U.F. had it's way, abortion would be an issue decided on local levels of governance. The peoples of Malivia are quite split on their moral views and this issue goes to the core of all of that. This proposal will not make abortions illegal merely only tolerated on a medical emergency. Those would say it is the right of the woman, to an extent are absolutely right. However, when they choose to go through the process of conception and do not consider the consequences of unprotected sex why should we punish those who have no voice? |

Date | 03:46:54, September 07, 2007 CET | From | Malivian National Unity Front | To | Debating the Abortion Act of 2451 |
Message | She has the choice to be intelligent and use preventive measures to avoid becoming pregnant as well. The one with no right to choose, as you and the others voting No would have it; is an unborn baby. |
Date | 21:16:11, September 07, 2007 CET | From | Militarist Party | To | Debating the Abortion Act of 2451 |
Message | The Militarist Party firmly stands with our friends on this matter! If these women who would "accidentally" get pregnant can choose to kill this unborn baby, what does this show about our treatment towards the rights of those infants? |
