MessageDo we really need a treaty to remind us of these things? Do you think Kanjorans are stupid?

Do you hate Kanjor?

MessageThe UPF feels that this is a good proposition. These Rights as defined by the Declaration states a clear purpose for the expansion of government; and its role in regulating society.

As is clearly stated in the Declaration; "Nothing may be prevented which is not forbidden by law, and no one may be forced to do anything not provided for by law ..."

This states the Rights of what it means to be a citizen (which the UPF Citizen Act supports); it states the responsibility of citizenship and it clearly points out the supreme position of government on all issues pertaining to the nation.

OOC: Nice try PPPP; if you didn't notice, this document is what allowed the formation of the Committee of Public Safety during the French Revolution because it puts great emphasis on the responsibility of government ("law") to better define all of these issues. Instead of ambiguity of interpretation that the American Bill of Rights presents, here we get an ambiguity of WHO determines what fits each law.

MessageI am well aware of the history of the French revolution. And for the Goons- no, no, and no. I just think it might be cool to respect this time-honored document. Jeeze.

MessageSo by not saying that you don't hate Kanjor, you are saying that you hate Kanjor?

Random fact: Real-life quotations may be used in Particracy, but the real-life speaker or author should always be referenced in an OOC (out-of-character) note alongside the quotation.

Random quote: "What are you trying to protect heterosexual marriages from? There isn't a limited amount of love in Iowa. It isn't a non-renewable resource. If Amy and Barbara or Mike and Steve love each other, it doesn't mean that John and Mary can't." - Ed Fallon
