Trees are the lungs of the planet. They produce the very air we breathe. They also provide wonderful scenery, raise land values, provide a recreational environment, house many different animals, They even provide us with wood for building. Forests are an essential part of the world, and we would struggle to live without them. We believe they must be protected at all costs. |

Old value:: Local governments may set up forestry agencies. Where they do not, forestry is on a commercial basis.
Current: There is a national agency which exists side-by-side with commercial forestry companies.
Proposed: There is a national agency which owns and manages all forest land.
