| Our regional police forces have noticed a disturbing trend in the number of illegal immigrants forced into sexual slavery. Attempts at squashing this have failed because of the secretive nature of many of these businesses, and because of the lack of distinction between essentially harmless operators, and scumbags. Not only is this practice an affront to the human rights we supposedly offer to anyone within our borders, it also provides monetary gains for a number of seedy figures who have an altogether negative impact on our society. Should we reward those who profit from the misery of others and loopholes in the law? Or do we provide our police force with a clear directive, by which to clean up our nation? We move that the current outdated and moralizing laws be scrapped, in favour of the recognition of prostitution as a legal practice. Legitimate operators can apply for a standard business license and follow the same regulations as the rest of the commercial sector. The police will be able to better crack down on forced prostitution and people smuggling, and will be more able to investigate criminal connections. |

| Message | We oppose. We will support a law making it legal all over Aloria, but it absurd to think we will recognize this as a profession. This requires no skill, only an attractive body and even that is not needed all the time. It is not a profession and should not be recognized as one, but the legality could be updated. This law was actually devolved by the original, socially conservative, Constitution Party. It was originally a recognized, lawful profession in the entire country. But few people remember that far back in the days when Ultran had legal prostitutes. |
