Message | If you voting against this, the VFA's income proposal must not pass. The budget deficit it will cause will make our citizens suffer And if any of you have a better idea to cut spending if the income tax does pass? |
Date | 05:49:21, September 09, 2007 CET | From | Vanuku Corporate Alliance | To | Debating the Budget proposal of July 2452 |
Message | You would cut the defense budget by such an obscene amount? The VFA accuses you of playing politics with the budget! |

Message | The defense budget should not be that massive in the first place. And WE accuse you back of playing emotions with taxes What is best in economics is to have balance Economics is risky. One little thing can affect very massively And if you like to let the local governments have power, why shouldn't we let them handle the budget from now on? At least they can be better than some government which can bring ruin to them. |

Message | The defense budget SHOULD be that high. You risk our safety! Why, by announcing you wish to lower the budget is practically inviting those who would do harm to Vanuku to do just that! Only a strong show of force, which requires a massive defense budget, will keep the enemy marauders and brigands at bay! We also notice that you are taking a snipe at us by cutting the head of government budget. The VFA assures you this will not go unforgotten. Even after the hangovers following the partying following our next electoral success. We note that federalism has a role for the national government and that certainly includes setting the budget for national defense. We certainly support letting the local government control this sort of thing but currently our laws do not allow for such methods and therefore we are constrained by the mere world we live in! |

Message | I could not accept such cuts in my departments. |
Date | 18:32:33, September 09, 2007 CET | From | Supreme Liberal Conservative Order | To | Debating the Budget proposal of July 2452 |
Message | It does not matter anymore. This is a retaliation to the change in income tax. With it defeated, this is useless. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
