Message | Plato's Republicans support a great deal of this bill, but there are a few points which will prevent us from endorsing it as a whole. The greatest of these is the proposal to do away with what is truly equal representation. The algorithm is used to ensure that those regions with few people do not dictate matters that affect those regions with many people. We may be more willing to accept a proposal to use a different algorithm skewed in favor of smaller regions, but the proposal as it stands is unacceptable. |

Message | The DSP will support this, though we would prefer regions with a larger populace have more representatives than those that don't. |

Message | OOC: Not quite sure what I was thinking last night when I made that bill. I /think/ that I figured "Oh, equal representation, regardless of region" with x votes garnering y seats no matter where the votes are. My bad. |

Random fact: Don't put "the" as the first word in your party name, because when parties are referred to in news reports, their names are preceded with "the", e.g. the [Socialist Party] has lost. |
