MessageThis bill doesn't actually cut taxes on the rich. It just eliminates the highest tax bracket: but incomes above 15k/year are still taxed at %1, same as they were before. All this bill does is reintroduce the %1 tax on incomes below 5k/year, which we abolished last session.

Really, if you want a flat tax, you don't need tax brackets. Just introduce a bill that says "income above 5000 ALOs taxed at %1." Or, if you're the MLP, and rage at the injustice of incomes below 5000 ALOs getting away tax free, introduce a bill that says "income above 1000 ALOs taxed at %1." You won't need any other tax brackets.
