MessageThe DSP can not support this plan.

Firstly, those making less than 5,000 SEK should'nt be taxed, since they make very little as it is.

Secondly the middle-class is taxed far to much

Thirdly the ultra rich should be taxed more than 77%.

MessagePRP are in agreement with our esteemed colleagues in the DSP. Wealth is the parent of luxury and indolence, and poverty of meanness and viciousness, and both of discontent. All brackets should be properly taxed relative to each other in order to facilitate no person having too much or too little.

MessageAnd I will point out I am trying my best to facilitate maintaining our level of services, while incorporating some sort of taxcut that the CFP would like.

MessageThe SCP agrees with the spirit of the DSP's proposal, but the number of earners at those levels is rather small, in all likelihood(and minimum tax is 1%, just so you guys know). The current tax brackets are quite acceptable, and we oppose any change.

MessageWe shall support this tax proposal, as we do not see 1% too high a tax for those living with less than 5,000 SEK, and more than 77% would be too much for those earning over 40,000 SEK. Paying direct taxes, even if of symbolic value, makes citizens responsible and involved. "The payment of taxes gives a right to protection." - James M. Wayne
We would suport lower taxes on the middle class, though.

MessageOk so after playing with the numbers I can assure you no one makes more than 80k a year in our fine country and that if you want to moderately increase some spending in our budget, we can not lower taxes anymore.

I'm going to put this to a vote along with a slightly modified budget. I would urge my fellow friends on the left to vote yes and remind them that the CFP is being very reasonable. Not passing this budget and income tax structure could ultimately lead to drastic cuts in services that we have seen the CFP propose before.

MessageCeC is really confused by the actions of the DSP. Do you really believe it is more fair to have a system where:
> 20,000 SEK 95%
> 30,000 SEK 99%

CeC is not saying this is a perfect bill, but it allows us to increase funding in key services while maintaining it in others. This is currently the best chance to provide tax relief while not having to cut services. CeC politely and humbly asks the DSP to change it's vote and for the Commies to vote yes as well.

Random quote: The Wolfsheim Virus is not a real actual disease in the conventional medical sense of the term. Rather, it is a cluster of symptoms which are just part of the general socio-economic disease that is capitalism. The main symptoms the sufferers are experiencing are a direct result of capitalist poverty, as in malnutrition, poor housing and so on, combined with psycho-somatic symptoms which are a direct consequence of the contradictions and stresses which are inherent to the capitalist system. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
