Message | This bill seems to be implying that a spiritually minded group of citizens must be specifically sactioned by the government in order to be legal, somehting which seems utterly ridiculous to the Pharaoh's People's Party. The elimination of dangerous or subversive cults is one thing, but wonton persecution of minority religions is entirely another. |

Date | 18:36:13, September 11, 2007 CET | From | Pharaoh's People's Party | To | Debating the Anti Cult Manifesto |
Message | As the Pharaoh's People's Party is opposed to the concept of recognised religions and the elimination of peaceful or unobtrusive civilian organizaitons, we cannot see how any alteraiton to this policy would make it acceptable. All the actions it takes or proposes are deplorable, and we foresee no compromise that would adequately make up for these defficiencies. |

Message | "As the List Of Recognised Religions and the Religious Freedom Bill have both passed, like it or not the concept of recognised religions exists in Beiteynu and it is within every right of the government to ensure such laws are enacted." -- Naczelnik Nasi Efraim Lezeyn |
Date | 18:02:13, September 12, 2007 CET | From | Pharaoh's People's Party | To | Debating the Anti Cult Manifesto |
Message | Then we are enacting this legislation only because we can? The fact that the government selectively sponsors certain religious organizations does not mean that it should condemn others. |
Date | 17:01:42, September 14, 2007 CET | From | Ma'avak | To | Debating the Anti Cult Manifesto |
Message | "We shall now be pushing ahead with this legislation. We will not stand by and watch Beiteynu be ravaged by fanatics." -- Naczelnik Nasi Efraim Lezeyn |
