Message | We are in the process of correcting the first problem. The Individualist Reform Bill of October 2453 will pass in June, and will remove all regulation of domestic media. As to discrimination, in order for the right of individuals to associate with whom they choose to have any moral meaning, it must be accompanied by a right *not* to associate with those whom they find distasteful. We cannot support any regulation of an employer's right to non-association. |

Message | You seem to misunder stand the term of Positive Discrimination. By that we mean that the government does not permit people to be hired purely on the basis that we belong to a minority group, will not allow different standards for minorities. You are welcome to hire anyone you want, but not the right to pay someone twice as such simply because they belong to a minority religion, class or gender. All are treated equal without fear or favour. -Tombs |

Message | An employer should be able to pay whatever he wishes. If he gains a visual pleasure from seeing blonde women that causes him to pay a blonde twice what he pays a brunette for the same work, that is his right as an individual. If the brunette wants the blonde's pay, she can find an employer that feels that way about brunettes. The same principle applies regardless of what racial\ethnic\religious\other groups you wish to insert in place of blonde or brunette. |

Message | then he justifies it as an advance due to services rendered, that service being the pleasure gained from watching the blonde at her work. But he doesnt state in his advertisement, Only Gilzens, Hebilees need not apply. |

Message | Why not? Makes things nice and clear, allows the Hebilees to not waste the time of applying when the employer will just come up with another reason not to higher them anyway. Discrimination laws merely force individuals to act in a dishonest manner in order to achieve ends which they have every moral right to pursue. It renders the exercise of personal liberty a dirty, lawless activity, and that is reprehensible. |

Message | While this law allows for a multitude of straight work arounds. It encourages the emploter not to. This bill states that if passed, the government is officly sanctioning this kind of behavour. The employer may choose to ignore it and carry on as he always has done but many will reconsider their actions. |

Message | The government has no right to sanction these actions. No nation which values liberty would support such micromanagement. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
