Message | Religion is the opiate of the people. And unfortunately people find a strange attraction to their opiates. Plenty of churches and mosques all across Cildania. Undoubtably something we'd wish to remedy. There is a base of voters this legislation appeals. Certainly more than two people. Which means that certainly after the revolution the re-education camps and psychiatric hospitals will be rather busy. |

Message | You have never read Marx have you good red? I find myself high amusing for you, spokesman of the communist revolution, quote one of the greatest misquotes of his thesis. And you follow it by promising the people concentration camps and the persecution of all those who dissagree with your view. Is it brown and not red shirts which you and your party members wear under your smiles Mr. Absalom? |

Message | religion is the heart of a heartless world, the soul of souless conditions, it is the opium of the people. Marx was sympathic to religion, beleived it to be product of circumstance, He was against the conditions which cause religions to form, but did not beleive that they should be broken on the wheels of revolution. He was against the rule of religion over a society, but not against the faiths themselves. |

Message | There is little difference between organized religion and communism. That is why they hate each other so, because both are ideologies opposed to competition, and they appeal to the same base and pathetic impulses in man. This is not to say that faith, or indeed even the tenets of the particular religions are necessarily morally bankrupt. Only that when the religion becomes organized, control inevitably falls more and more to the organization than to the beliefs it claims to serve. This has been the case in all great religions, and in all communist nations, where the "good" that was initially pursued is subsumed by manipulators and leeches who abuse the system to the detriment of all. Collectivist organizations of all types, whether they worship a supernatural being as God, or whether they worship Government as God, are the enemies of the individual, and of free and rational thought. |

Message | "[Marx] was against the rule of religion over a society, but not against the faiths themselves." Yet that is exactly what you are proposing here, the rule of a religion over society... |

Random quote: "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, from those who are cold and are not clothed. The world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children." - Dwight D. Eisenhower |
