Messageplease do bear in mind that our policy on chemical and biological weapons may affect our relations with other states. We suggest separate votes on nuclear and CBW.

Messagefor instance, if a nuclear arms bill is proposed, we will vote against but otherwise remain silent. If a chemical weapons bill passes, we will urge all countries in the world to impose sanctions against Lodamun and do all within our power to unseat the government. There is no rational reason to have chemical weapons. There are now only ten countries in the world that keep these barabaric weapons. We should think long and hard before joining the company of New Endralon and the other rogue states. (Or in real life, Saddam's Iraq & company.)

MessageUrge all nations all you like. We still consider this treason, but we cannot do anything about it at the moment. If another nation makes a hostile action agains us, we will retaliate in kind. If you truly care about the people of Lodamun or want peace, you will not pursue a course of action that may place either in jeopardy.

The issues are linked. If GA had not made such an absurd fuss over it in the past, we may have separated them; however, our position is clear.
We will take all steps necessary to defend the citizens of Lodamun from foreign aggressors. We consider this to be the national government's only true responsibility, and we intend to see to it.

Messageto the CUP and PCL: please realize we have the utmost respect for you as parties. However, any law passed authorizing chemical weapons will be met by massive protest on our part, including acts which TIC describes as "treason." We will of course not commit any violent acts, or urge any others to commit violence, but we WILL make an "absurd fuss" to prevent the spread of chemical weapons. There is NO chemical weapons threat of any sort to Lodamun. The acquisition of chemical weapons will make Lodamun a threat to its neighbours.

It rests in your hands whether or not this will happen. We beg you to reject the TIC path of warmongering.

we trust that the ASP stands by its CBW disarmament intent treaty and will not support chemical weapons possession.

MessageCBW weapons in Lodamun are not a threat to all of its neighbors.

"Proposed: The nation shall never use chemical or biological weapons in warfare unless another nation uses them first."

They are only a threat to those that would attack us first.

Messagepossession of chemical weapons is, in and of itself, a threat to the people of Lodamun and neighbouring countries.

MessageWe will not support the construction of chemical and biological weaponry. These are to uncontrolable, too easily used by terrorist groups, and of no great military or deterrent value. We will support the research aspect as this alows countermeasures to be developped.

We do support a non first strike nuclear capability.

So as, usual - please split this up into separate bills.

MessageThank you for seeing sense and making the split. Obviously we will vote against this one, but are aware it will pass anyway. Our hope is that other parties will be able to take a rational position and reject the CBW bill.

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party
