Bill: Unratifying the "freedom" treaty
Details
Submitted by[?]: Pertetuum Kazulia
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes the withdrawal from a treaty. It will require half of the legislature to vote in favor[?]. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 2457
Description[?]:
Kazulia is the only nation in compliance with the outrageous and outdated bill known as the "freedom treaty". Although the Perpetuum Party agrees with the vast majority of rules in that treaty, a couple of them are a thorn in our eye, and apparently, they are for all other nations in the world as well. We would not make a big point out of that, if it did not have a very dangerous clause in it, concerning gun possession. We do not believe gun posession (even when limited to those who do not suffer from extreme craziness or those who did not yet kill anyone with a gun) is a contribution to the term "freedom" and you can ask anyone who's ever been victim to an armed assault or hostage situation that guns are usually the device that restrict the freedom of innocent people. Furthermore, we believe the other freedoms are captured in similar treaties that we already signed and we do not need this treaty anymore. Alternatively, we could agree to sign a new "freedom" treaty, if this is so wished, but I think this one should go because it restricts us for no real reason. |

Message | The "Freedom" treaty places many restrictions on our nation which are contrary to the development of the proletariat as the dominant class. It is nothing more than idealistic pseudo-liberal drivel. The Communist Workers' Party supports the abandonment of these restrictions on our sovereignty. |
