| The DSP, realizing that there is no one nationally recognized unit of measurement, seeks to introduce one to help unify our people and cut costs both in government and private industry by having a single measurement unit to be used for everything. Therefore the DSP proposes that Metric be used as the national systems of measurement it's the most widely used in the whole of Sekowo. |

OOC: Ok, I really have no idea how many other nations have actually debated this, but since half the players seem to be North American and half European with some Australian mixed in as well that would mean roughly half the players use Metric, half use imperial and some use both. |

| Message | PSFF believes in the simplicity of metric system. Imperial system is too old and confusing in order for our scientists to work efficiently with it. Metric system is extremely easy to learn for our citizens, unlike Imperial. Two systems of measurement are just too confusing for our citizens and scientists. |
