Bill: Budget proposal of December 2455

Details

Submitted by[?]: First Party Of Hobrazia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2456

Description[?]:

The First Party Of Hobrazia propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Second Imperial Republic of Hobrazia.

We have chosen to increase spending in these areas to allow for a better security situation, where we can have more police on the streets and more criminals put away. Education has been increased to help to boost those who can read, write and do mathmatics at primary age, this will in turn reduce the number of some classes of criminals due to a better social situation.

Science and Tech has recieved this large boost in funding to help advance research into environmental technology, to cut pollution and to make Hobrazia one of the most advanced nations in terra.

MessageWhilst we are happy to support these increases in expenditure, we would point out that the current surplus would have been able to wipe out the lowest tax band entirely increasing economic prosperity and expenditure immeasurably.
However, we will still support this budget as we agree with the priorities laid out in the above.
