Bill: Fair Imminent Domain Act of 2456

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2456

Description[?]:

The DSP feels that leaving imminent domain up to local governments is a bad idea as it means the local government could literally steal land without even paying for it and give that land to a corporation.

Therefore the DSP proposes that imminent domain only be allowed for public works that will benefit the people.

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
