Message | As before, we in the PRP do not see why cutting the budget by over a third is necessary at this time, especially when such important areas as Justice, Infrastructure, Health, and Education are all being deprived of needed funding. In some cases the annual budget is being reduced to less than half. While we understand the need for a balanced budget, we do not understand why the CeC considers our current budget so flawed. |

Message | OOC: I've been thinking about this, and I have to say, we should really be using million, not billions, since we don't actually produce enough money to fund everything at those levels, in fact if there was a working economic system in the game, we'd probably be several trillion dollars in debt. I think we should use million for the most part, but have some things in the low billions. It would'nt impact anything since we can just pretend nothing's changed. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
