Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2458

Description[?]:

The DSP, while believing in freedom of the press, does not believe that news media should be allowed to law, as it leads to misinformation and a great amount of danger, especially in times of emergency.

Therefore the DSP proposes that there be laws against the publication of false information, but everything else be published freely.

MessageSo the CeC, AUP AND CFP all support allowing the media to lye to the people.

IT's becoming abundantly clear neither party seems to care for the people.

MessagePlato's Republicans agree that it is unfathomable why any of our parties would accept the printing of outright lies. While we in the PRP are staunch supporters of free speech in its many forms, the knowing spread of misinformation falls outside the boundaries of free speech.
