Bill: Free banking!

Details

Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2458

Description[?]:

Government banking is a dangerous road. Both commercial banks and central banks. Since this place does not have a separate law for central banking and monetary policy I assume that this goes under this law.

Central banks are very dangerous. Since their creation together with fractional banking systems they have inflated our money away. Such banking is directly responsible for inflation of the money supply which hits and poorest the harder.

Give banks to commercial hands and allow different monetary units. That way we will have more competition in the banking system and also more stable currency. Lets move away from the inflationary road we are on! This will benefit all classes in our society.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life fictional references (eg. Gandalf, Harry Potter, Luke Skywalker).

Random quote: "The first step in freeing yourself from social restrictions is the realization that there is no such thing as a 'safe' code of conduct, one that would earn everyone's approval. Your actions can always be condemned by someone, for being too bold or too apathetic, for being too conformist or too nonconformist, for being too liberal or too conservative. So it's necessary to decide whose approval is important to you." - Harry Browne
