Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2458

Description[?]:

Eleven years ago the mandatory vote explanation act was passed, this act required that all parties, by law, must explain why they are voting a specific way on all bills.

However the law was not refined enough, and subsequently many parties have been going against the law by not following it.

This bill outlines the Amendments to the act that explain the times a vote does not have to be explained, and what must be explained when it does.

Explaining votes;
-When you vote no for a (non-frivolous) bill.
-When you vote yes for a (non-frivolous) bill.
-If voting yes, simply stating that you support part of or the entirety of the bill.
-When changing a vote, a reason must also be given for every time you change it.
-An explanation for any and all votes must be given before the bills deadline, and not after it passes and/or does'nt pass.

Not Explaining Votes;
-When you are the author of the bill.
-When a bill is frivolous, IE changing the national animal to the 'cockrocket'.
-When a party/person creating a useless OOC bill, such as 'I pwnz joo allz'.
-When a party creates a bill that only puts another party down and does not do anything (Censor bills excluded).
