| Message | We are undecided about eugenics. Our movement is built on the inherent equality of man. However we also see man not just as an individual but as part of an overall societal fabric. And we are of course scientific socialist who believe that the bigger picture of society should be analyzed empirically . A breeding program that increases overall intelligence and health could be beneficial for society. A program that aims to say regulate the amount of melanin in the skin of the population would serve no purpose but to re-enforce irrational superstition. And of course would be silly in a nation that is pretty much uniformly white. What concerns us is how advanced the science is. Whether poorer workers whose circumstances are influences by factors besides genetics will suffer needlessly. We're not comfortable with this. But we'll acquiesces to a pilot program being put into effect. |
