| Eminent Domain is nothing short of theft, in a country we claim to be free, citizens can have their property seized for the "greater good" of the nation. But what good does it do a nation when its citizens rights are superceded by the want of bureaucrats. Even with payment, the property is still being taken against the owners will. We expect citizens not to steal but apparently it is ok for the government to do so, outlaw eminent domain and let the government purchase land from citizens, only by their consent. |
