Bill: Counter Espionage Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Pertetuum Kazulia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2460

Description[?]:

As some other party mentioned earlier, the greatest threat to being able to protect our technologies are the communications.

We suggest a bill that makes it possible to screen, and when necessary intercept, the contents of suspicious emails to uncover spies and criminals, for whom in the current situation , it is far too easy to forge and share their plans against our people.

We do not believe the privacy of the people is harmed thusly, because seriously, why would we care about Billy's loveletter to Margaret. All we care about is harmful content shared by the easiest communicationlines.

We are aware that these villains will still be able to communicate, but they will have to do so in person, which makes them a lot more vulnerable for apprehension, which is the goal.
