MessageWe are so pleased that you power-mongering bureaucrats and liberal sycophants have decided to ignore the voice of the voters yet again. We cannot wait until you finally propose to outlaw elections; after all, you and your socialist utilitarians know better than the people. You know that the policies that the CUF stands for are not what the people want, despite their overwhelming support for the CUF party. You know so much more than all these ignorant voters!

You might bully your way into cabinet positions with a coalition of minority fringe parties, but do not think you will hold your reign of terror forever.
Freedom and Federalism for a Morally Upright Jelbania!

MessageUCC would also like to add that the ranting and raving of the CUF display the horrible aspects of their leadership abilities. If you truly believe that the current government is forcing a "reign of terror" over our people, our party is extreme skeptical of the kind of leadership you would provide this country if CUF finds itself in power during a real crisis.

MessageAren't we a little hypocritical here? Or lest we forget the ammount ad hominem attacks our proposals have recieved as of late. Indeed if memory serves correct "reign of terror and error" was the terminology your party has described the coalition government of the JKK and CUF.

But we particularly hold the most contempt for the Lib-Gov party, which has perpetually decided to unleash its scathing wit in debating our proposals. We cannot help but remember such gems as "It doesn't need reply." to the proposal nationalizing the postal system in order to assure that every locality is serviced at a low, standard price. Or the brutally scathing quip, "You have forgot to add an article like this: The nation has free to punch the men who do those proposals" in response to our effort to expand the freedom of speech.

As such, it was necessary for our party to voice its extreme opposition of the current and the proposed cabinet. You may call it ranting and raving, but we have consistently brought up points that not one party had been able to adequately address. For instance, how can this socialist agenda of the current government be seen as "respect for the people" when it is nothing but contempt and skepticism for the people's intelligence? And it is the CUF that has been accused as having no "respect for the people", even though we have been expanding civic freedoms every which way.

So please, UCC, we still hold your party in some degree of respect, but we cannot stand for the coalition government you are a part of. We believe it is this current government that displays "horrible aspects" of leadership. How can you not see this? Half of the recent bills passed through the Assembly had had a 50-50 coalition split. In many cases the CUF had to cast the deciding vote. How can a coalition that is only united in its opposition of the CUF be considered an effective government?

But not one of the parties a part of this govenrment even needs to answer any of these questions. After all we are just "ranting and raving" and your government is right because you are sure you're right.

MessageOur reference to your previous government as a "reign of terror and error" was meant to denounce the militaristic, racist, homophobic, and overtly-nationalist laws which you proposed and passed. These actions brought about "terror" to those who feared unnecessary wars, those outside of the majority in terms of race and sexual orientation, and those that want local control not a dominant central government.

Perhaps we were being hypocritical in denouncing your use of the phrase "reign of terror." We just do not see what is so terrifying about what we are proposing. In the future, we will be more aware of keeping our language open and tolerant, as well as following the principles we expect other parties to abide by. UCC always seeks open and constructive debate.

As for your comment about our "socialist agenda:" there is a socialist party within our coalition, but we are not all socialists. UCC prides itself on Jelbanian's long tradition of free-market capitalism.

We do not agree with all the parties in our government on every issue, but we are extremely proud to serve with all three.

Finally, regarding your comments about the "overwhelming support for the CUF party:" this is not the case. Your party received about 40% percent of the vote. That means that 60% of our good people voted against the CUF.

Let's put this cabinet proposal to a vote!

MessageIn a country where there are five parties running in the election, we'd say, yes, achieving at least 20% more than every other party is overwhelming support from the people. Or since we did not achieve a majority, would you have us call ourselves the least unpopular political party in Jelbania?

MessageCUF has considerable support, but it is not overwhelming. 60% of our people did not vote for your party.

MessageWell it seems we have different definitions of the word "overwhelming". You could look at it in terms of the percentage of the population that didn't vote for us. We prefer to look at the fact that the CUF recieved the most votes out of all the parties in all but one province.

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current.
