Voting deadline: December 2460
Description[?]:
The DSP believes that Freedom outweighs the Demagogy of local governments on certain issues, and thusly national standards need to be established for smoking regulations. The DSP believes that smoking should be up to the owner of personal private property, and that while it should be allowed on public private property if the owners so wish for it to, employers must provide a non-smoking section as well. Furthermore the DSP believes that smoking should be illegal in public/government facilities. Therefore the DSP proposes that Smoking is legal everywhere, at the discretion of the property owner. However, service/employer property owners that allow smoking must provide a separate non-smoking section, and smoking be illegal in public/government facilities. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
