| This issue has been sent to discussion many times in the recent past, but we are sending it again hoping to reach - finally! - a consensus. We should protect innocent life! And life starts at the very beginning of fertilization when the egg and the sperm cell join to form the zygote. This is the first cell from what will soon become an embryo, then a fetus and finally a completely formed human baby, who from its very early stage of development has the right to life. We should endorse and promote individual responsibility as people should be consicious of all the consequences of their acts. We deeply believe that abortion should be an exception and NEVER a viable option. There are many other solutions other than abortion such as adoption or charity, and those, yes, should be supported and enhanced! This assembly should say NO to the murdering of innocent lives just "because yes". |
